It’s a right of passage if you grow up in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex to watch the cattle drive at the world famous Fort Worth Stockyards. When you are an elementary age kid, odds are you got piled into a yellow school bus on a hot August day and hauled out to Fort Worth to watch it. I remember it being this giant place of mystery and grandeur. Like most things from child hood, however, everything becomes smaller and less grandiose. Here are a few shots from a trip I took with the wife and kids while we are taking a little ‘stay-cation’ this week. Enjoy.
